Is Smashio free?
Yes, the app's free. You only pay the venue's own court fee, which the host sets per player when they list the game.
Do I need a partner to join?
No. Most games on the board are open to solo players, that's the whole point, you turn up and get matched in.
What skill level should I pick?
Be honest rather than modest. Beginner, intermediate, advanced and pro are sorted by how the game actually plays, not by ego, and everyone has a better time when the tier's right.
Do I need to book the court myself?
No. The host has already sorted the court, you just show up at the time listed.

What happens if I don't show up?
Hosts can mark no-shows, and it affects your reliability score, the same one other players see before they let you into their game.
